Tomorrow Is Not Promised...

I learned this morning that my dear friend has transitioned from the earth to heaven. While it certainly is not about me, I can't help but be confronted with the fact that tomorrow is not promised. She was one of the most God-fearing women I have ever known and was always full of encouragement. I take solace in knowing that she exercised a strong, daily relationship and faith walk with God. I'm certain she never dreamed she would be going home so soon, but one thing I know for sure is that she was ready. This is why it is so important that we live and love each day like it is our last. We must elevate our purpose and meaning over the daily cares and tasks that we encounter in our everyday walk. Our legacy must be prioritized over laundry, chores, and to-do lists.

Manifesting your purpose is the most important thing you can do to create a lasting legacy that will live long after you have closed your earthly eyes. To live your entire life without ever knowing your God-given purpose is a travesty. There are two kinds of people on this earth; those that know and walk in their purpose and those who do not. Not walking in your purpose is a miserable existence of always wondering "is this it?" When you began to walk in your purpose, you actually begin to live a life worth living rather than surviving and enduring all of the disappointments and hurts without healing that life can offer. That is no way to live. God did not bring you into this world to simply exist. He created you with a plan, purpose, and position in the Kingdom. You have within you everything you need to thrive and live an abundant life!!

Given the fact that tomorrow is not promised, why don't you begin to walk in your purpose today? No matter what, step out of your comfort zone, manifest your purpose, and live a valuable life full of meaning for you as well as the Kingdom. I am not suggesting that because you walk in your purpose that every day will be a sunshine-filled day. In fact, I know that we need both the sun and the rain in order to create the beautiful flowers that our purpose will produce. Do not delay... living a life of purpose on purpose is critical to your health and well-being. You have to be committed to being intentional about your life. Life is too short and should not be taken for granted. Don't be a procrastinator... create a lasting legacy today. Leaving earth without ever doing what you were created for is not acceptable.

If you have not yet claimed your purpose and you are still asking the question "What on earth am I here for?", please plan to read my book, One Good Sip At A Time: 7 Guiding Principles to Spiritual Growth and the soon-to-be-released second book, One Good Sip At A Time: 7 Guiding Principles for Manifesting Your Purpose. Another great opportunity will be to attend my upcoming weekend Manifesting Your Purpose: A Boot Camp. I want you to know, I am here for you. We are connected and we are in this together!

Rest In Peace, my dear friend! Until we see each other again...

I therefore … beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.—Ephesians 4:1-3

Peace, love, & blessings,

~ Angie
